Traverse Recovery Center offers residential care, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP). You do not need to choose a program on your own. Tell us what is happening, and we can discuss an assessment and the level of support that fits.
Residential care means living at our 12-bed Bluffdale home while you focus on treatment. PHP offers a fuller treatment day without an overnight stay. IOP provides ongoing care with fewer treatment hours. The right choice depends on your needs, safety, and the support you have outside treatment.
If drinking is the concern, start with our alcohol treatment page. If drugs are involved, see drug treatment. We also explain care for mental health concerns.
Work and family responsibilities can affect the choice. Read about treatment for working adults, signs of high-functioning alcohol use, or residential versus outpatient care.
TRC does not provide medical detox at the Bluffdale residence. If withdrawal needs medical supervision, we work with partner providers to arrange placement within 24 hours when clinically appropriate and space is available. We can then discuss a transition into a TRC program.
Yes. We can assess people whose main concern is mental health or substance use, including people dealing with both. An assessment helps us decide whether our setting can meet your needs. For an explanation of why both concerns should be considered together, see SAMHSA’s guidance on co-occurring conditions.
Start with a private conversation. We will ask what help you are seeking, discuss the care options, and review insurance or payment before planning the next step. If TRC is not the right setting, we can discuss a referral. Read about admissions.
No. An assessment can point toward residential care, PHP, IOP, or another service.
No. Medical detox is arranged through partner providers when it is needed.
PHP and IOP are TRC options that may be part of a step-down plan when appropriate.
Tell us what you are facing. We can discuss an assessment, the care options, and how to check payment before you decide.
